Randall L. Knapp, Chief Development Officer and Managing Principal of Master Planning and Development brings over four decades of hands-on experience in real estate development and operations. With a family legacy of over 50 years in Central Florida’s real estate market, Randy has successfully led projects ranging from residential communities to luxury resorts. Since 1989, Randy has managed The Knapp Family Partner group, driving visionary developments that have shaped the region’s landscape.

His portfolio includes the development of nearly 2,500 residential lots, site selection for Publix and Walgreens retail stores, and the creation of award-winning communities such as Schalamar Creek Golf and Country Club, which was nationally recognized as the “#1 Community of the Year” twice. Randy has also spearheaded transformative commercial projects, including the redevelopment of the Polk Nursery site into a thriving business park and logistics hub and the construction of Camp Margaritaville Auburndale, voted the “#1 Luxury RV Resort in the United States” by USA Today in 2024.

Current projects under his leadership include the Riverwalk RV Resort & Lodge, a 401-unit luxury RV and recreation facility on the St. Johns River, and innovative ventures like Ruby Lake Road Self Storage and The Motor Vault, a premier car/boat/RV garage condominium development.

Randy’s leadership style is visionary and transformational, fostering a people-centered workplace culture that drives sustained success. Beyond his professional achievements, he actively serves on the boards of the Central Florida Development Council, Central Florida Tourism Development Council, and Citizen Bank & Trust.
