Project Description

The Saddle Creek Logistics Distribution Center in Auburndale, Florida, is a testament to Master Planning and Development’s expertise in land acquisition, entitlement, and master planning, transforming a 40–50-acre site from agricultural land into a high-capacity logistics hub. With the increasing demand for industrial distribution space, the firm strategically secured, entitled, and zoned the site, enabling Saddle Creek to transition from a leased facility in Davenport to a fully owned distribution center tailored to its long-term operational needs.

Situated at 110 E. Moss Road, along the State Road 559/Interstate 4 corridor, the facility was strategically positioned to enhance Saddle Creek’s Lakeland operations while maximizing connectivity to major transportation routes. The 468,000-square-foot distribution center, backed by a $20 million investment, serves as a centralized logistics hub, offering optimized storage, distribution, and supply chain solutions for its customers.

Through careful planning, the site was designed for future expansion, with capacity to grow to 811,000 square feet as operations scale. Its prime location, combined with access to key highways and a strong local workforce, reinforces Auburndale’s status as a growing logistics center in Central Florida.

By assembling key land parcels, securing entitlements, and master planning for long-term scalability, Master Planning and Development played a vital role in establishing Saddle Creek Logistics in Auburndale. This development not only supports the company’s continued expansion but also strengthens Central Florida’s position as a leader in supply chain and distribution solutions for years to come.
